Pretty little studio challenge & DT call

Hey and Happy MLK day

Today I want to share a card with you.

This card was inspired by the Pretty Little Studio "Think outside the box" inspirational challenge. Below is the photo of inspiration. You can go to their blog for more details (The DT projects are also kool) and there is 2 days left to enter the challenge.

Creative thought : So when I saw this picture I knew I want to incorporate the circle shapes of the dessert and the butterflies. Which is what you'll see in the pictures below.

Close Up - This is an Anita Be Stampin Image colored with Copic markers and I added some ice blue stickles. I used a Copic marker to go around the edge of the shape.

Close up - Embellishments used on this card are ice blue stickles, glitter puffy paint, white puffy paint, sparkly blue ribbon, butterfly cut out from Martha Stewart punch, recollection pop dots.

Also entering this card in The Paper Shelter Design Team Call.

This company creates some super cute digi images and would be so much fun to work with.

I just had to enter this call.

Happy Valentines Day lil treat

Well Hello and Happy Thursday

before we know it Valentine's Day will be here, so

I want to share a simple Valentines treat that you can hand out.

I only made one so far, but I do plan on making a few more and I might even make a tutorial video as well.

Details: The Owl plastic bag a tube are both from the dollar section at Target.

The pattern paper is from the new Bo Bunny Smoochable paper pad

The Brown cardstock is from a Recollections paper pack

Embellished with two flowers and sugar pink Ranger Stickles

I then tied the bag (which has candy in it)with 2 strips of bling mesh (I used the bling mesh because I'm giving this one to a scrappy friend, so I figured she could use the mesh on a project later.

Can you believe that 2012 is here already.

I have just finished my Lil Princess's need sleep layout. Featuring my fav two lil toddlers. My Kay Kay and her god sister Trinity.
The sleeping in the car pictures are so priceless I just had to put them onto a layout. This picture was taken after the carnival. That layout is also finished and will be posted soon.

Christmas Project # 3

Hello and Happy Holidays, I hope everyone is done Christmas shopping. If you are still looking for a quick small gift, I have a great project to you.

I learned about this project from Scrapbook's Expo Facebook page and thought it would be a good gift for the ladies in the office.

So I created four lip gloss purses. There is a template online, but I created my own template by measuring the lip gloss I have bought for the ladies. I decided to make the purses simple.

Supplies : Pattern paper (recollections: sugar plum), different ribbon and embellishments. The lip gloss is from AVON.

First Mini Album (wish list)

I'd like to share with you my very 1st mini album. .

I created this wish list mini album for a friend and wanted to share it with you all. The purpose of this album is to help keep her on budget. Each page has a pocket with a pull out label and space to label all the pockets with the letter stickers I included in the package.

Below is my Christmas Card

Supplies: A2 card base, cardstock paper, sentiment, die-cut image, pop dots.

Instructions: Layer the cardstock on your card base and with pop dots adhere your die-cut image. Add your sentiment and your all done.

Hello and Happy December

I simply can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner?

I hope your not to behind on your Christmas shopping and crafting.

All this month I plan on bringing some quick, inexpensive, fun and easy holiday gift ideas. In each post I will include the supplies used for the project, simple instructions and how much the project cost me to make.

Today's project is an altered wreath I created for our door. This wreath was created during my lunch break. Check out the video on my You Tube Channel for more information.

Supplies: Wreath, trimings, emblishments, glue gun

Simple Direction: Adher your trimings and emblishments to your wreath in different areas. Create a focus point on the wreath.
Here is a close up of the focus point on my wreath. I feel all wreaths should have focus point.

All of these trimings and the wreath were bought at Michael's on Black Friday. I bought the wreath for $2.00 dollars and the triming were all 50% off so this wreath cost about $4.00 to make.

I hope everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Today I want to share these cards that I created this weekend for my friends. Two of my friends I used to work with had a joint birthday party Saturday night and I created these birthday cards for them.

These cards are being entered in the YNS Challange # 55 (friends).

Both cards feature the Cupcake Cutie Fhina (cling stamp).

These ladies have two different personality and styles. So I wanted to use the same image for both cards, but make the cards to fit their personality.

Card # 1 (Brit) - Below is a close up of the stamped image. Brittany loves pink and bling, which is why I used stickles on her dress and cupcake & added some rhinestones. The image was colored with Copic markers and this is my first time attempting dirty blonde hair on an image. The pink card base is from a K & Company card pack. Black ribbon is from a pack of ribbon from Michael's.

Card # 2 (JLo) - JLo also knew at Jenn has a fiery personality, which is why red is a primary color for this card. This image is colored with Copic markers. I used red YNS skittles throughout the card. The card Base is Studio G. Pattern Paper is by Martha Stewart and the red card stock is by Making Memories. Faux stitching was done with a black ZIG marker. It's your Birthday stamp is from a Hero Arts stamp set.

Male themed Cards

Hello and Happy Hump Day. The working week is almost over. I just wanted share these too quick I cards I recently made with you guys.

Its a challenge for me to make male inspired cards because I like girlie products and its my style. I normally only make male products for the hubby. I managed to make a few male inspired cards. The first is a birthday card and the second is a baby shower card. I also managed to make these cards pretty quick.

Card Details: Die cut (numbers, letters, & ticket) : Slice (basic shapes & elements), Pattern Paper(DCWV: High School), green bling, memento ink

Card Details: This card was made using a paper kit I bought from Michael's and I added some Puffy Paint (white), alpha stickers (white), & stickles (red brick)

ABS Challenge # 26

Today I'd like to share a project using an Anita Be Stampin stamp for their Anything Goes Challenge.

You should definitely stop by the ABS Challenge Blog. The DT has created some wonderful projects for this challenge.

I'm entering this project into the Challenge using the ABS Cherry Sweet Stamp Set

Project Details: I have a mug where you can add an image into it, by un-twisting the bottom and slipping your picture in. I bought mine from TJ Max a while ago, but you can buy it from many different stores. So I created a Christmas scene using the Cherry Sweet stamp. The stamped image was colored with Copic Markers. This was a challenge for me, because I often use layers in my projects, but there was very little room for layering.

(Sorry there was no way to get the whole image in one picture)

I just can't believe its November 1st already. This year has definitely went by pretty quick.
To jump start the holiday season I want to share a project I made for the YNS Challenge # 54 - anything but a card.

Before I get to my project I want to share some Halloween picture's of Kayla. This Halloween she was Bat Girl. We let her pick out her own costume.

OK now on to the YNS Challenge # 54 - Anything but a Card. For the challenge I made a bookmark featuring a super cute little penguin from YNS.

This anything but a card challenge really challenged my creative mind, because I'm always making cards. So I was up for the challenge and to help me with this project I used my new

Slice from Making Memories.

Hello All,
It's been a while since I've blogged some projects. I've missed my blog, so I'm back. I probably won't be blogging on a weekly basis unless I get back onto a design team. I have just started looking for DT calls, since I have a little extra time in my weekly schedule.
Definitely can't believe the summer is coming to an end already and the little one is back in her uniform. Ready to learn in preschool.

Just because I haven't been blogging, doesn't mean I haven't been crafting. So I'd like to share some projects with you. For each card I used my Cricut ( Sweetheart cartridge). This cartridge is great I always use this cartridge for when I'm creating wedding projects and cards for my hubby.

So good news everyone I have finally been able to buy a camera, so after this week my pictures will be looking much better. I got a Kodak easyshare M552 and I love it. We used the camera yesterday to take pics at my hubby's Goddaughters 1st Birthday party and the pics came out great.

So I'm entering the Anita Be Stampin Challenge. Here is the sketch for this week's challenge. I love sketch challenges because I can make the sketch my own and let it inspire me to make any project I feel. This week I left my confront zone with cards and made something else.

I made this tag for the Anita Be Stampin Challenge. I hope you guys like my lil creation. I'm going away for the weekend (so excited for this lil getaway with the hubby and a bunch of our college friends) and I will use this tag on my bag or maybe I'll put it on the cover of my latest notebook. Sorry for the picture quality, still no camera ( :( Need to save up some money)

Project Details
This tag is cute and simple. I love the simple designz at times. The diecut's are cut with my Cricut (Sweetheart and George Basic Letters & Shapes). The embellishments are flowers and rhinestone bling.

I used the ImagE, I have a Crush on you (which is new and super cute) and also usEd imagE Fruity Strawberry a non valEntine imagE to show you that many of Robyn’s imagEs can be usEd for that spEcial occasion!

For this Valentine's Day project I turned a plain white gift box into an beautiful gift box ready to give to someone. I used the same heart shape paper in the card and folded it,so it fit the box cover added 2 flowers, the digi image, and bling. This project is Classic and easy to make.

1st Anita Be Stampin Challenge

So I was on Splitcoast yesterday and found this company called Anita Be Stampin. Tonight I was checking out there challenge blog and said to myself this looks like a great challenge, but wait its 7:30 PM (EST) and the card is due today at 11:00 PM (EST). So I put the little one to bed at 9:00PM and whipped up this card using this layout:

Sorry about the picture, I'm still using my camera phone to take pictures, but a new camera is on its way. Close up off the digi stamp. For the wings I used a Copic marker, Copic Spica (clear), and smooch (silver).

New Years Resolution: 2011

So for this year I really want to stick to my New Years Resolutions. I'm sure if I made any last year, but 2011 is going to be a great year I feel it. I'd love to share them with you guys as well as hear your Resolutions. If you don't have any resolutions in mind its never to late.

So hear goes:

1) Take better care of me (sometime I get so involved in life that I miss my dental visits, don't make doc visits when I'm sick,some me time, etc).

2) Raise my credit score (I'm sure tons of people are trying this one, but I'm getting focused.) I'll share any tips I get.

3) Get my work published in a magazine.( I've been trying this for a year or two, but not really giving my all. This year is different and it would mean the world to me, so I'm going to push) Hopefully Creating Keepsakes is the one.

4) Get involved in the scrapbooking outlaws forum (It looks like fun, so I want to play along.) I just found out I can read the forum on my Blackberry (YAY, I'm an on the go person)

5) Upload my DT cards to Yahoo on time ( lol, I'm off to good start)

6) Pray everyday: prayer works

Well I'll update everyone on my New Years Resolution in 6 months. Wish me luck and if you can help out in any way please do so.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night

This Christmas we were out to the Poconos and drove home to the city in the snow before it got really bad. Today we are SNOWED in and Kayla has tons of new fun toys to play with while we are home. Here is picture of our tree last night. I always organized under the tree and Kayla's stuff is mostly in the front (We are truly blessed)

My crafting goodies for Christmas. I got a GYPSY (YAYAYAY) I was so super excited (thanks Hubby). I also got the Serenade Cricut Cartidge and a gift card to Michael's. I would have went shopping today, but we are snowed in. This picture is taken on top of my daughter's new Dora table.

I hope everyone has a great safe Halloween. So this weekend was full of Halloween fun for the lil one.
On Friday October 29th Kayla's daycare had their annual Halloween party. Costumes and of course all the kids left with a Halloween bag of goodies.

On Saturday October 30th Mall-O-Ween (Halloween fun at the mall) filled with pumkin decoring, coloring Halloween pictures, giveaways, and of course more candy. Right after that we went to Toysrus of more Halloween fun (The mall and Toysrus are very close, so it all worked out perfect) which included a costume parade with Geoffrey, giveaways, coloring fun, and more candy.

Hello Your Next Stamp it's been a while since I've entered a challenge, but I'm backkk.

I have created this Thanks Card using Party Fhiona. A quick Thanks to all the people who have inspired me and my craft (that of course includes YNS).

Details: Ink - Tsukineko (Gingerbread) , Party Fhiona stamp - is colored with Copic markers (I tried something new by using the Gingerbread ink instead of black ink) , Chipboard - Boxxer, Thanks die cut letters - Sizzix sizlet (Sunset)

Hey, So I just wanted to post some photo updates. Kayla our 2 yr old daughter is in daycare and once your child turns 2 they have uniforms and bring school supplies. They start early teaching and I love that about her daycare.

I took about 50 pictures that morning, and she was ready for Mommy Paparazzi

Now on to my card for this I Did It Creations Challenge. I had fun with this Challenge I made a Birthday Card and for the 1st time decided to use the digi stamp on the inside of the card.

Details: I used Copic Markers to color the stamp(you can't see the sparkle in the pic). Since my friend was turning 25 I wrote it a few places on the cake with a colored pencil. On the front of the card I use a butterfly transparent paper and some rhinestones. A nice simple card.

Hello and Happy Friday

There have been alot of good changes with I Did It Creations, so I want to make sure you all are update with what has been going on. Lets start with the merge of Stitchy Bear and I Did It Creations. The new store looks great and all the artist are having sales. I made this Birthday gift tag. The Gift tag is made from a Boxxer Scrapbooking products
label tag. The happy birthday ribbon and pink ribbon is also from Boxxer. This flower I made is one of the flowers I learned to make in the Flower Technique class at CKC. This stamp was colored with Copic Markers.

Hey Everyone, I went to my first convention. I attended CKC in Charlotte on Aug 13, 2010 and I have to share my experience with you. This will be a long post mostly pictures.

So here is some feedback on the classes I took:

Boxxer (fri) - This is a lecture class. I learned some good tips & tricks in this class. Angie (she held the class) was funny.They have a new Disney collection thats super hot. They gave a ton of product for us to take home. They had a free make-n-take at there booth and nice coupons. I would buy from them in the future. Here are the products we recieved in the class (the flowers are missing from the picture).

Flower Tech Class (fri) - Megan H taught this class. I was super excited to meet her she is a great editor and true sweetheart (she loved the gift I gave her). We learned how to make about 5 - 6. I learned techniques I'll defintly use later in my crafts. I will post up the layout when I finish the full layout. All in all I think this was a great class. Megan did a great job teaching this class. We learned how to use the I-top tool (kool product).

Then I was off to the Vendor Show I took my cuz with me she did a few cute make-n-take cards. I got her a few things to get her into scrapbooking. Then I did some shopping. I finally got some flower soft, so I'm really excited to use it. I learned more about it at one of the make-n-takes. There were aleast 3 or 4 vendors that had dollar supplies. Scrapbuck was one of my fav stops.

1) The CK Christmas Card kit with 30 cards and a bunch of other things for only $10 dollars.2) Scrapbook creations had Hero Arts Clear Stamp set for $5.00. My 1st CAS - tastic Challenge

Hello All,

This challenge is in honor of Father's Day. I hope all the Father's out there had a great Father's Day. Check out their Challenge at CAS-tastic Challenge Blog. This Challenge ends tonight at 9:22pm. So you still have a lil time.

I have recently learn about the CAS-tastic Blog and I love their concept (go visit them and read their side bar). I plan to partictate in future Challenges. I encourage you to do the same.
Here is my Father's Day Card..............

Supplies : Circut cartridge - Black letter , puff paint (for dots) , George and basic shapes, and Everyday Paper Dolls (the baseball hat). I often use a few different cartridges when I make cards (I'm sure I would save me alot for time and energy if I had a Gypsy(watch the video if you don't know much about it), hopefully I will soon have one)

I love this card this so clean cut, The dad that received this carded enjoyed it as well.

My card is tittle Starry Night a little Halloween in June. I wanted to work on a new style, so here it is. I hope you enjoy this card. I created a Thank You card and the embellishments I used are ribbon and bling (rhinestones). The Thanks border is a border punch by Martha Stewart. The Glass flower stamp was fun to play to with. I colored this stamp with my Copic Markers. The flowers are 3D, so it looks really kool in person.

I have been super busy with Life, but I wanted to share a few pictures from Kayla's 2nd Birthday May 22nd. Me and the hubby gave her a Backyard Backyardigans Birthday Party. First would like to thank all our friends and family members who helped out with the party.

Here is the invite I made (Yes I do invites and flyers also)She made her enterance to the Backyardigans theme song with her Daddy.Drinking out of her Backyardgins cupShe loves bubbles now. She was afaird of them for like 30 mins, then she fell in love with Bubbles. Toddlers are soo cute.This cake is amazing. It not only looked pretty, but it tasted sooo good. Thank You Genna.

This Farah Fawn Stamp was colored with copic markers. I added bling to the spots and Popped-up the image to add some effect.The pink and white pattern paper is made by Recollections. Pink in my favorite color, so I knew this challenge would be super fun and a pink fawn is classic.

Back with another Robyn's Fetish Friday Challenge. I hope you can join in this week

Theme: Butterflies
Digi Stamp used: Bird

On this Happy Anniversary card I used Copic Markers to color in the bird. I cut this bird out of the image. The full image has the bird on the tree with flowers (used in a previous card). The beauty about using stamps is I can cut an use any part of the image I want. I love flexability when I'm crafting. The butterly came from my Home Accents Cricut cartridge. I use smoosh (silver) to add the dot pattern on the butterfly. The Happy Anniversary is cut from the Sweetheart Cricut Cartridge. I also think that white,black and red is a great color scheem. I had a blast with this semi elegant color.

I used Fhiona's Pet Bunny stamp in this Spring card. I think this bunny is super cute and fun to work with. I used Copic markers to color in the Bunny and my Cricut to cut out the letters and grass. I know I havn't been a while, but I'll be writing more often very soon. I have been super busy with tons of celebrations and starting a new job. I want to sharea project with you. My Matron or Honor and our Best Man are expecting their 1st child at the end of the month. The Baby Shower was on Saturday and I was asked to make the Guest Book. They loved it.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Here is my binder project that I have been working on this week. Today I attended the Copic Certification class in Long Island, NY. Sally Lynn taught the class. She is very talented and I learned soo much. I also met some other crafters that taught me a few tricks and introduced me to some new companies. Bottom line is I'm going to purchase some Copic Markers this week and practice practice practice.

I know I have not posted in awhile, but I have been super busy. I will have a project to share with you all by this weekend (so come by this weekend and check it out. I do have a few things to share with you.
